My Approach & Values

I consider early intervention, evidence-based healthcare and workforce education to be foundational to an individual’s overall wellbeing at work.

As an independent provider of Return to Work (RTW) services I utilise a collaborative and risk-management approach to injury recovery to tailor strategic and outcome-driven RTW services for the individual and their workplace.

Titled APA Occupational Health Physiotherapist and Member of the Australian College of Physiotherapists.

Thirty years working as a physiotherapist in :

  • Industrial settings undertaking early intervention injury prevention and injury management services for RTWSA, Compulsory third party, registered employers and self-insured employers
  • Workplace Health & Safety risk assessment 
  • Physiotherapy private practice
  • Sports physiotherapy, including work as team physiotherapist for state league Netball, state league Basketball and amateur league AFL clubs.

My Special Interests

Supporting complex injury recovery including both physical and psychological injury management.

I love using contemporary pain science and pain education to help people better understand the interaction between mental, emotional and physical factors which can influence their pain experience.

I am a committed member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and the APA Occupational physiotherapy group.
